Attitude Is Everything

ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING

I think that if you go into a casino with the attitude that you’re going to lose all of your money, then more than likely you will. You might as well walk into the casino, hand to the 1st guard you see all of your money and then walk right back out.

However I also think that if you go into a casino with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE and say to yourself that you’re just there to have fun and if you win great, if you lose then hey, you went to the casino with the money you knew you had a chance of losing. Then I’d say you have more of a chance of winning!

Also I suggest that you DO NOT go playing Joker Video Poker or do any kind of gambling for that matter, when you’re tired, discouraged or in a hurry.
Always play when you’re alert and in a POSITIVE mood. And NEVER EVER EVER play when you’ve had too much to drink. The free drinking policy behind the casino’s reasoning should be obvious!

ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING

Always Play Max

ALWAYS PLAY MAX!

The casino has the edge over you so as it is folks. If you don't always play max coins in their machines, then I say why even go to the casino's at all?

The casino's are in business for one reason and that reason is to make money. And that's exactly what they're doing otherwise, they wouldn't still be in business. When they have to pay out any kind of Jackpot no matter how big, it's just a drop in the bucket to them.

I'll give you an example of what happened to me when I first started gambling. I was at The Golden Nugget many moons ago in Atlantic City. I was only playing 1 quarter at a time, because I thought to myself "I ain't putting 5 quarters in this machine at a time. I was young and stupid back then and definitely a beginner. Anyway, I got the ROYAL FLUSH no Joker on a  25 cent Joker Video Poker machine. The bells were ringing and the guard came over shook my hand ( probably while thinking to himself, "what an idiot" ) and handed me $25.00 for that so called Jackpot. Now if I would of been putting 5 quarters in at a time I would of won $1,000. I still remember seeing the faces on the people around me thinking how stupid I was because I wasn't playing max!

This happened once again to me on a 25 cent 5 line slot machine. You needed 3 – 7's on the 5th line and yep, you guessed it,  I got the 3 – 7's on the 5th line but I had only put like 2 or 3 quarters in and I got nothing at all but a very sick feeling in my stomach.

So my advice to all of you is

ALWAYS PLAY MAX !

Gamble Before You Gamble

Gamble Before You Gamble

I have found from my own personal experiences that whatever I try at home on my computer before I go to the casino that day and I win on it at home, I usually win on it down at the casino too.

For example, if I do good with slots at home, I usually do good with them at the casino’s I go to that day. This has worked many times for me. And if I don’t do good at something that day at home, I usually don’t do good at the same game down at the casino’s.

However, I have found that because there are different VIDEO POKER games out there, if I don’t do good at say Joker Video Poker at home, I might try Deuces Wild and if I do good at Deuces Wild at home I usually do good with them at the casino’s.

Now as far as what cards to hold. All I can say is ALWAYS GO FOR THE ROYAL FLUSH if it’s the top JACKPOT and you’ve been dealt at least 3 cards to it. Don’t just save a high card. Get rid of all of them and draw 5 more. I’ve found that you have more of a chance of winning more money by doing this than just trying to go for a pair or even 3 of a kind. Most of the time always go for what's highest on the machine!

Try it sometime, you'll see what I mean.

GAMBLE BEFORE YOU GAMBLE!

Money Management

Money Management

I've personally found that one of the most important things to do before you gamble, if not "THE" most important is that you must have MONEY MANAGEMENT! I can't stress this enough to you folks out there how important money management really is!

You must set a limit to your LOSSES and believe it or not especially your WINNINGS!

As far as losses go, that will depend on your own decisions. When should you stop? If you’ve already lost $20.00 will it be any better after $40.00, $50.00, $100.00?

Here's what I suggest you should try next time you go down to the casinos and your luck isn't the greatest that day.

1st – If you're luck isn't so good playing a 25 cent Joker Video Poker machine. Then I say, try changing denominations. For example, if quarters just aren't working for you, try halves, dollars. Of course this all depends on how much money you came down to gamble with.

2nd – If that didn't work, try other Video Poker machines. For example Double Joker Video Poker, Deuces Wild etc, But also keep this in mind that these machines must be played a lot differently from Joker Video Poker.

3rd – If that still didn't work try playing a different casino game. Slots, Roulette etc., and try different denominations on these machines also.

And as a very last resort I will try my luck at other casinos. If this doesn’t work then I say go home and let your girlfriend / boyfriend, husband or wife lick your wounds and go back again another day and try to seduce the Goddess of Luck once again!.

Just remember this. You CAN'T make yourself win! And NEVER EVER EVER HIT THE ATM MACHINES! Only gamble with the money you went to the casino to gamble with. And keep your other money for food, drinks and especially gas and tolls to get back home separate unless you took a bus down there or flew.

I also highly suggest that you get a casino card fir every casino you gamble at. Not only will you build up your comps for free rooms, food, drinks, gifts and shows but it will also help you at the end of the year for your win / loss tax record.

Here's the bottom line!

The money you came down to the casino to gamble with, you will lose. However. you can win it back, win it back plus a little more, a lot more and unfortunately lose it all by the time your done gambling. And keep in mind that breaking even is a lot better than losing it all.

If you do break even and you want to gamble more. I suggest you take a break 1st. Go get something to eat, drink or at the very least, go to the bathroom. Get refreshed for another session of gambling. The machines aren't going anywhere.

This is real money folks coming out of your hard earned pockets. This isn't Monopoly money. This is money you can pay bills with, buy food, buy material things for your babe or your stud or maybe even both now a days. And always remember when you win money from the casino and put it back into their machines that this was your money you could of walked out of the casino with, Don't think to yourself, oh well I was gambling on their money. NOT TRUE! Remember this next time you're up a couple of bucks from the casino!

These casinos are in business for a reason. To make money. They're still in business over all of these years because that's exactly what they're doing! The paying out JACKPOTS is petty cash to them.

If you can, try and circulate your money through the machines without losing it and building up your comps. And I personally don't usually play penny or nickel machines but, if you do still keep this in mind

ALWAYS PLAY MAX

And if you lose too much money too soon, go get something to eat or drink or go look at the ocean. In other words take a break, don't let it get to you! Then go back and try again later on.

So my advice to all you folks out there is…

BEFORE YOU GAMBLE… THINK MONEY MANAGEMENT, ALWAYS PLAY MAX, BE COMFORTABLE, HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND HAVE A GREAT TIME!

HAPPY GAMBLING!
